Fine Experience

This has been quite the eventful weekend thus far.....I'm pretty pumped!

To start off my weekend I had a great experience at Trader Joe's which included:
-over hearing an employee say it was their LAST shipment of spiced cider (i literally ninja-like ran to the front display and grabbed an entire case of it)
-convinced a lady that their pumpkin bread mix was to die for (she proceeded to put several boxes in her cart even though she never planned on buying any in the first place)
-the sample lady was giving away the FREE spiced cider I love!
-the lady at the register introduced me to Chocolate covered Carmel with sea salt (she literally left the register to run back and grab it---ripped open a brand new box--and i sampled the most delicious treat I have had in a long time!)
-oh yes....pumpkin whoopies were purchased :)

Moving on....

I then went to a good friend's house for a pre-thanksgiving dinner--FABULOUS! I got some great ideas for the dinner I will be making on Thursday!! Also--spending time with the girls was a treat in itself!

(Yes Maria had the house fully decorated for Christmas...music included...:)

Finally....

My Uncle Van is in town for a seminar and he insisted on treating us young folk to a delightful meal at Ruth's Chris (which is not normal for me).
It was amazing....steak, potatoes, broccoli, key lime pie, me throwing up. THAT'S Right--I puked-in the middle of a fine dining restaurant-in my hair--in my purse-it was disgusting.

The first chance I get to live like the rich and famous I literally blow chunks---is that a sign? I mean...it tasted great-I felt fine-I guess my stomach just isn't used to real food-good food.

I think I made quite the impression---mortified in the process but at least we had finished dessert!

(this was after the up-chuck experience--all back to normal--except the smelly purse)
