Love is in the Air

If there is one thing I've learned about marriage from my parents, it's commitment. All couples have what one would call "ups and downs." I feel like my parents have more mountains and valleys. They started their marriage with a ready made family (my mom had been previously married and brought a son to the equation). My dad was a farmer of 110 pounds at age 26 when they married, with no parental experience, and my mom was a woman to reckon with. My mom had been cheated and abused in her first marriage (which created a fighter because she had for survival) and meeting my dad was her blessing from God.

After raising 3 kids together (which we alone were enough to cause two people to divorce; Between Andy's eyebrow piercing and rebellious ways, Josh's...well a lot of boo boo's on his end, and my dramatic life as a female...its a wonder that they're still sane) they are still married today!

In this later season of their marriage, the real trial is beginning and the reality of, "til death do us part," is taking its course. They're committed, whether they are together physically or not....in heart and spirit they will always remain as one.

I love you Both...I pray John and I have the God's strength to love through the valleys.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to the strongest couple I know.
