I want to be like her

I watched an interview on Oprah, Laura Bush.

One word: classy.

She was incredibly graceful yet so real to the core. She was honest and exuding great integrity when talking of the current president, her husband, our country. I was actually dropping a few tears as I watched her interview-their family is beautiful.

I'm thankful that the Bush family is still wholesome. I love that they seem to uphold the "old" American values...so rare in politics. They have two daughters that are really making something of their lives that gives back, serves this world. They both were part of the interview and I was so impressed with their security. They know who they are, they know who their family really is, and they are far from ashamed of their father. It was heartwarming to see the love of mother and daughter, they were so proud of one another. It's interesting when you think of the role reversal that happens with parents and children. These girls are now lions that protect their mother just as she did for them when they were young children. God designed relationships so intricately. It's fascinating!

Mrs. Bush has written a book and I'm hoping to get my hands on it; she's a woman that as I watch how she carries herself, I long to have her grace and sincerity (something I am far from but wanting to have).

Laura-you are a woman to be noticed!
