I'm a woman of God. I'm a wife. I'm a daughter. I'm a sister. I'm a teacher. I'm living by God's grace to bring him glory, by him and through him all things hold together. Colossians 1:17

Bloggin and Breakin
Long time no blog. Then again, don't think it really matters because I'm pretty sure there are less than 5 people reading my thoughts....that includes myself and my mother. hehe.
I feel like if I can't write something meaningful I can keep my mouth closed for the moment.
So here's the meaningful thing that's been resonating in my mind for days. I mean days and days!
John and I recently bought Net-Flix for a womping 7.99 per month. That's our entertainment budget right now so it fits perfectly :) For us....it's like a trip to Disneyland every time we browse through the thousands of options of things to be entertained by. Surprisingly, we have found ourselves browsing documentaries, history movies, and "true story" flicks. If i were a fly on the wall I would think of us as 90 year olds stuck in 20 something bodies! Kinda lame!
My most recent pick was "Stoning of Soraya M."
I think about this movie from the time I wake up until my eyelids can no longer keep themselves open. It was horrifying, sickening, and thought provoking. It's a true story about a woman in an Iranian village that was stoned because her husband made claims that she was committing adultery. He made his claims so that he could marry a 14 year old girl he had met once his current wife was dead. Soraya didn't have a chance from the first accusation and as they buried her legs and her own children stoned her I immediately prayed. I begged the Lord to tell me "why" and confirm that these people would be punished.
I am continually thankful for breath, freedom and life. I do pray the Lord provides justice and I'm confident he will because his word says he will.
