After our first night at Foster parenting class my mind is blown....so many images scattered in a thousand pieces!
There's one thing Ill take away from the night that I'll need to tuck away until the day comes.......
-No matter what you think of the parents and what they did to the child, the child loves their mom.
Uggghhhhhh. I will have to pray that the Lord closes my lips and freezes my tongue so that I don't try to convince a child that their parents are awful people. Prideful for me to think I can do better but when it comes to abuse, neglect, drugs...you name it, I have a tendency to lack mercy and grace.
Thankfully God does!!! (for me and the parents)
What a great night...what an awesome calling on our lives!
