I knew that when it came time for me to leave and find a place of my own, I would be called by God to offer that same generosity to others. God allowed me to buy my own home through a phenomenal program for teachers, fire fighters and cops (GNND). I knew when I purchased the home that it wouldn't be my place of quiet tranquility and restoration, I knew going into it the reason I was given this incredible house was to use it as a tool.
I now have 4 girls living in 1 house with 3 bedrooms and I'm 25 years old. I sometimes feel a little old to be doing the whole college roommate thing---but---It has been an incredible experience. I love who I live with, we bless each other (I think I'm the lucky one most of the time), and God has me right where he wants me. It's something in life that I know I am doing what he called me to do (thank goodness because I think I'm missing it in a lot of other areas). I am called to be generous with what God has blessed me with.
Given all of the girl talks, power shortages from blow dryers, laughing, chocolate cravings, hormonal times in the month, and high heels everywhere........ It's a home because of the people in it. I can't imagine it being any other way!!

This isn't my house--It's God's tool of generosity to those who need it!
