An awesome friend of mine gave us tickets to the Panther's Football game today--cool experience.
As I was sitting there I was thinking about all of the money spent for the event. TONS! It was mind blowing...watching people fork out twenty dollar bills for a pop and nachos.
I thought to myself---wow--these people pay a lot for good seats.
(I'm about to get all super spiritual (don't hate) but it was an honest-serious thought that grabbed my attention)
I started thinking about Heaven and the "seats" we'll have. I thought about how the people with the good seats will have had to pay for them.....sacrifice material desires, fight fleshly desires, give up friends and acceptance, live the "uncool" life in others eyes. It's paying a high price on earth for front row seats in heaven.
The price seems high to us now....but man the cost is worth the view.
