Going Green

My bestest--and I mean bestest---got married this past weekend in Ohio. Ashley made a STUNNING bride wearing a dress that I never would have put her in, ever. Rephrase- I would have put her in it but she would not typically accept it. WOW---she knocked the socks off of Jake.

Jake and Ashley love them some Jesus. They maintained purity over the past 3 years and serve Christ with their whole hearts. Jake is tender and incredibly soft. Ashley is strong and straightforward. Together, God has made a balanced pair!!

As Ashley walked down the isle I was not the only one crying. Her husband wept at the site of his beautiful bride and returned his tears with a strong and telling smile. I stood next to her and cried myself...thinking about how proud I am of the most unchanging person I have ever met. You will never see 2 sides to Ashley-ever. She is constant. My mind was flooded with memories and emotions and sheer joy thinking of how excited I am for her.

Jake and Ashley will be a couple that we grow in life with-always. We will most likely have kids together, vacation together, and serve Christ together. I can hardly wait!!!
