When I Grow up....

When I was growing up I always wanted to be a wedding planner. Part way through college I put my life and schooling on hold and moved to Ohio to work for a full service wedding company. I LOVED so many aspects of the job-to me, weddings never get old. I could do them, watch them, live them---anytime! I love it all!

I left the wedding industry about a year and a half in to finish my education degree and before I knew it I was teaching.

I'm starting my fourth year of teaching in a matter of days and a small part of me is itching to do something else. I love my job--i can't wait to get to work in the mornings. I feel at peace doing it. BUT-there is still a piece of my mind that wanders and dreams of what else I want to try. I can't imagine being on my death bed having only tried teaching as a career.

I have been so consumed with photography...it's my "dream" job of the moment. I think it would be so refreshing to work with people and capture their special moments in life. There is also a bit of creativity involved which is freeing.

For now....I'll teach because I am pretty positive God has called me to it.

But Lord...Ill do something else if you open the door! :)

You are an amazing and gifted teacher, but you never know, it just might be a stepping stone for greater things God is preparing you for down the road......He clearly has much in store for you! :)
