Aliens and Christmas --- Truth (Part Three)

Aliens and Christmas. Two stories, two perspectives. The sad reality? The story of a real alien’s experience on Christmas Eve is not the fantasy.

If we are being honest with ourselves, we would see that what this alien experienced is typical of Christmas Eve. You walk into a department store, you see “Happy Holiday’s”, and it would even be a wonder if it takes all day to here word Christmas. Santa and the North Pole are more popular Jesus and Bethlehem.

Christmas is a day that celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ. God in the flesh; God humbled himself, became man, took on the sin of the entire world (past, present, and future), hung on a cross in our place, descended to the dead, and rose and conquered the grave all so that we could have life and have it to the fullest.

If we could have this resonate in our hearts, part two could be obtainable. If we could understand the magnitude of the birth of our Savoir from the virgin Mary, this season would look completely different.

We place leaders, innovators, activists, entrepreneurs, etc…on pedestals. We diminish the day of the Lord’s birth to gifts. The Redeemer of the world was born and He alone is to be exalted.

We are living in a world where part one is the reality. By God’s grace we can see part two move from fantasy to reality. Through prayer God can bring a mighty change to the world, and we must be ready to be willing tools to be used as He desires!
