Highlights of 2011

This past year has been pretty unique....we have been given some crazy experiences, amazing memories, and lessons learned. I feel like this year had its growing pains, as all years do, but, I can say with 100% confidence that this year was full of the Lord's presence in our lives. The Lord faithfully met our needs and beyond, he blessed us with new relationships and time to grow the old ones, and he gave us a great year of marriage.

Here's the highlights of this year......some are memories to treasure, some are unforgettable lessons, and some were crazy experiences!

Being there to experience Grandpa passing in front of my eyes was crazy, but at the same time it was the most unique and spiritual experience I have ever had. What a day to celebrate- a true servant meeting his maker! Grandpa-you are missed!

Being foster parents was enlightening and the greatest learning experience we have ever had! We learned so much about ourselves, about parenting, and about hurt in the world. We will now be waiting just a tiny bit longer before we attempt parenting!

Old friends are irreplaceable. Our best friends met us at Cedar Point in Ohio and we hit a record breaking experience of 26 roller coasters in one day...many of them front row. Seriously, probably the most fun filled day of the year! Absolute Blast!!

New relationships blossomed this year as well! The Lord blessed us with the finances to travel to Colorado and be in a dear friends wedding. Such special people even though they are so far away.

I made a few friends in college that are "forever" friends. Seeing one of them get married this summer was a memorable day...we danced late into the night...laughed a lot...and of course cried! Sweet sweet day!

Being back at the place we met (SpringHill Camps) was crazy, so much has changed. The counselors there are so young (really we are just getting older). All of the memories from the summer we met lingered......this place is always in our hearts!

One year anniversary---relaxing, blissful, and dreamy! Love my husband and love being anywhere with him!
