As much as I adore our humble home.....it's time to cut in some areas and the gas bill is one of them. After driving 30+ miles to work one way for the last three years, we are ready to get a little bit closer to where we spend most of our life. We wish we could move this little house and put it 20 miles down the road, we are so grateful that we have had such an awesome first home!!!
We bought our home through the Good Neighbor Next Door program through HUDD. It's a program that allows firefighters, cops, and teachers to purchase homes at 50% off. The government pays half of the purchase price. Praise the Lord, we were informed of the opportunity of GNND and snatched a great house!
Here is to another transition in life! Lord willing the house sells and we will be moving on!
