Mockers and sinners

We've all heard the story of Noah and his ark (at least I hope we have). He built it despite the worlds mocking and scorn, he built it because God commanded him to.

I'm trying to imagine what it would have been like to be Noah, having thousands of people begging and pleading to get on your boat once the rain started to pour with no sign of stopping. I'm wondering what it was like to have experienced being the "uncool" one and then being the only cool one. God wiped out the entire earth with a flood-saving only Noah's family, he was the only one worthy to live in God's eyes.

At bible study tonight I thought 2 things:

1. Would I be helping him build the boat, or mock the boat?
2. Would God view me worthy to live in a fallen world?
