When we bought this house it was completely re-done with new everything---floor to ceiling. To my disappointment I still couldn't figure out why I hated the living room when I liked everything I decorated it with. Finally, after switching some things out here and there---I realized the fireplace was the thorn in my eye.
Before completely damaging my eye sight, I took aggressive action and completely painted the fireplace giving it a makeover. Complete makeover!
I love it! The difference is seriously drastic and incredibly enlightening.
Now.....back to working on the guest bedroom that needs a lot of additions to make it complete!
